For more than 103 years, it has been the desire and the vision of Berwyn Baptist Church to be a God-honoring, dynamic, spirit-filled, biblically centered and a multi-cultural church, impacting our city and nation through expository teaching, leadership development and purposeful outreach.
History of Berwyn
The Lord started Berwyn Baptist Church in November 1922 when He put upon the heart of a group of people to begin a work of His grace in the Berwyn area of College Park, MD. The church started off at 48th and Tecumseh, faithfully sharing the Word of God as the Lord built His church when a Sunday School enrollment of 400 people in 1950 climbed to 590 people in 1953.

Pastor Keiffer Bent
Pastor Keiffer Bent is the Senior Pastor at Berwyn Baptist Church in Maryland, since 2010. Pastor Bent and his wife, Martha, have been married for 24 years. Their son, Jonathan, is 19 years old. He is a freshman attending Bob Jones University.
